It’s that time of year when everything turns green and no, we don’t mean it’s spring just yet! It is almost time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day – and what better way to do so than with a parade?
What To Expect
Every year, North Little Rock holds a St. Patrick’s Day Parade, organized by the Irish Cultural Society of Arkansas. The parade acts as a celebration of Irish culture, featuring marching bagpipe bands, Irish music, decorated floats, antique cards, Irish wolfhounds, and even St. Patrick himself.
The North Little Rock St Patrick’s Day parade will begin at the crossroads of Sixth Street and Main Street in downtown North Little Rock. From there, it will travel through the Argenta Arts District, cross the Arkansas River over the Main Street Bridge, and travel east on President Clinton Avenue. It will then turn south on Sherman Street and end at third and Cumberland Streets in Little Rock. So, if you plan on coming by to feel the luck o’ the Irish, make sure you set up your seats along that route.
The Celebration Continues
Following the parade, you can continue the celebration with the “Dancing at the Crossroads” event. Enjoy traditional Irish dance performances and music from marching pipe and drum bands that are sure to get your toes tapping.
Here at Russell Honda, we hope you and your crew have an enjoyable St. Patrick’s Day.
