It’s that time of year when everything turns green and no,
we don’t mean it’s spring just yet! It is almost time to celebrate St. Patrick’s
Day – and what better way to do so than with a parade?
What To Expect
Every year, North Little Rock holds a St. Patrick’s Day Parade, organized by the Irish Cultural Society of Arkansas. The parade acts as a celebration of Irish culture, featuring marching bagpipe bands, Irish music, decorated floats, antique cards, Irish wolfhounds, and even St. Patrick himself.
The North Little Rock St Patrick’s Day parade will begin at
the crossroads of Sixth Street and Main Street in downtown North Little Rock.
From there, it will travel through the Argenta Arts District, cross the
Arkansas River over the Main Street Bridge, and travel east on President
Clinton Avenue. It will then turn south on Sherman Street and end at third and
Cumberland Streets in Little Rock. So, if you plan on coming by to feel the
luck o’ the Irish, make sure you set up your seats along that route.
The Celebration Continues
Following the parade, you can continue the celebration with
the “Dancing at the Crossroads” event. Enjoy traditional Irish dance
performances and music from marching pipe and drum bands that are sure to get
your toes tapping.
Here at Russell Honda, we hope you and your crew have an
enjoyable St. Patrick’s Day.

The New Year is officially upon us, and it’s time to put together our New Year’s resolutions. When putting together your resolutions, it’s important to make concrete, measurable goals to hold yourself accountable. Here are a few of our favorite New Year’s resolutions at Russell Honda.
Learn a new skill
Adopt an entirely new skill this year. Try something you’ve always wanted to do, such as dancing or snowboarding. Learn a new card trick or how to make a new recipe the whole family will enjoy. Whichever skill you learn, you’ll be able to carry it over each year.
Read 12 books
Instead of resolving to “read more,” make your goal a little more concrete. Consider setting a goal to read one book per month. You can pick from a variety of different genres, including fiction, poetry, and biographies.
Reduce distractions while driving
Modern technology makes it easy to get distracted behind the wheel. Instead of driving with your phone in your lap, lock it in the glove compartment before you even put your keys in the ignition.
From all of us at Russell Honda, we wish you a safe and happy 2019. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle to start 2019 off right, visit our showroom or give us a call to schedule a test drive.
Sales numbers for September are out, and on the list of the 10 best-selling cars and trucks in America, Honda models took not one—or even two—but three of the top spots. This makes Honda the only automaker with three entries on the list of the 10 current best-selling cars and trucks in America. Amongst the best-selling cars in America were the Honda CR-V, Honda Civic, and Honda Accord.
Only three of the 10 best-selling cars in America last month were sedans, two of these being the consistently popular Honda Civic and Honda Accord. A larger portion of the best-selling cars last month were crossovers and SUVs, including the Honda CR-V.
The Honda Civic has been on the road for roughly 45 years, and the newest iteration of this crowd-favorite is more appealing than ever. The newest Honda Accord, likewise, offers updated looks, some seriously impressive technology features, and available engine options that make everyday driving an absolute pleasure.
The Honda CR-V compact crossover SUV has remained steadily popular in recent years, and for good reason. The new 2018 CR-V offers striking contemporary style, engaging power, exceptional connectivity, and safety technologies that make it the perfect choice for both busy families and individual drivers.
You can find all of these Honda models out on our lot at Russell Honda.
